Fun at the Zoo

The some of the pals headed to Beardsley Zoo today to enjoy the company of some fellow animals and to soak up some on on this second day of summer!

Theo's favorite spot was the rainforest exhibit. He tried to make some small talk with this turtle, but it did not go so well. The dart frogs seemed a bit more welcoming to him.

Jack was fascinated by the peccaries. It was tough to get a good photo, not because of the peccaries, but because Jack kept trying to jump into their enclosure to get a good chase going. Bad idea, Jack. Bad idea.

And last but not least, sweet little Bonnie stopped over to see the prairie dogs.
They are crowd pleasers for sure! Bonnie kept eyeing their yummy midday snack of some juicy carrots. Time to go make a stop at the snack bar!
